Surviving a winter in the complete darkness of Antarctica is strenuous enough. Add aliens to the mix and it becomes critical!

At the end of the summer, when the last plane has left the station for the next eight months, the three film versions of The Thing based on the story by John Campbell will be shown in some research facilities. To set the mood for the good times ahead ;).

And although the 1951 and 2011 versions are also very entertaining movies, the classic is of course John Carpenter’s 1982 version.
