Most people associate different fingers with different symbols or gestures. Many years after having sealed your first promise with a pinkie swear, your finger might well serve as proof of your promise to marry your sweetheart, that is, wearing an engagement ring. And every now and then, you can make use of the other fingers... easily running the risk of being misunderstood in different countries or cultures, of course. So do be careful!

Gamers prefer to use their fingers less symbolically, instead navigating through virtual worlds. But even this is not entirely without risk. Having your fingers in the same position on the keyboard for hours can result in the gamer's hand becoming more like a gamer's claw ;).
